PHOTO DAY

We are going to have our Photo Day tomorrow afternoon (Tuesday, September 29, 2009). If you are sending your child with an outfit or shirt that you want to be kept clean it might be better for them to put it on during lunch time. It is supposed to be a rainy day tomorrow and the playground could easily change the clothing colour.

Math Review

We are going to have a Graphing Math Quiz next week. A review package was sent home today, this package is to be completed at home. They will have until Tuesday September 29th to complete it.

Five Secrets

This is just a reminder that our Five Secrets are to brought into class on Monday. Presentations will begin Monday morning and will continue throughout the week.

Curriculum Night

Curriculum Night will be held on Thursday, September 17th this year. The grade 3 classes will be meeting in the gym (stage side) at 6:30 to inform you on what your child will be doing and what is to expected of them throughout the year. Hope to see you all there!

5 SECRETS IN A BOX

Students are asked to put 5 items that have some significant meaning to them into a box. These items will give each student an opportunity to show what is important to them. Presentations will begin on Monday, September 21st. The handout for this assignment was given out last week and was to be put in the front pocket of the agenda.

Welcome Back!!

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you, and your child back to LKS for another school year. For those who are new to our school community I would like to extend a special welcome. I hope you have had an enjoyable and relaxing summer. I am looking forward to an exciting school year in the grade 3 world.
