Wednesday

Fable Reading

Unfortunately, our Fables will not be delivered to the school until next week so we will need to postpone our reading until Friday, June 25th @ 8:15 am. If anything changes I will post a new message.

Friday

Pioneer Day

We are going to be setting up our own Pioneer Village on Wednesday, June 23, 2010. In the morning we will be hosting other classes who will come through and observe the research we have done on different pioneer jobs over the past few weeks. During the afternoon students will be playing Pioneer games that they created. Students are encouraged to dress in role of the pioneer job that they researched. Parents are welcome to come and stop by before lunch.

Fable Reading

We are hoping to have our Fables arrive at the beginning of next week. If everything is on time our students are going to have an opportunity to read their fables to each other and other classes in our school. We are going to also open things up to give parents a chance to come and see our fables. On Friday, June 18th @ 8:15am we are going to have our student authors host an open house for everyone to come and enjoy.

EQAO

With our EQAO testing behind us I would like to thank all of the parents who generously put together our treats and drinks for the week. It was greatly appreciated.
